    @jerryrs21 Depends if you have powered or unpowered speakers?

  9. jerryrs21 on September 2, 2011 at 7:41 pm

    I just bought a newmark mixdeck and two 15″ powered speakers. My question is, do I need to buy like an amp or anything else so I can connect the speakers to it? I appreciate your help since I have absolutely no experience with this equipment.

    Hi all, and @theronsicat , No, unfortunately I’m STILL not set up to use the provided Traktor LE 1 (and subsequent LE 2 Upgrade I was sent by Numark) and don’t think I’m getting the full use of my Mixdeck, almost a year after purchase.

    I definately think someone should do a clean install and setup video for people struggling to get it going as I’m pretty old-school with my DJing technology and completely lost in the whole process. Nothing I’m trying seems to work.

    @sharpeihound As of February 2011, all Numark Mixdeck’s that shipped out all came packaged with Virtual DJ LE (Limited Edition)… Traktor LE or Traktor NE as it is called, was moved to the new Mixdeck Quad…

    @marc05231 That would work.

    @Darko316 Unfortunately you are not the only one with this problem in the world… Lots of folks seem to have had the same problem when they first tried to set this puppy up as MIDI Controller with Traktor… There are lots of forums out there so if you haven’t found the answer yet… Just Google them…

    If you got a 90 day return policy on yours and it’s within than range… I suggest returning it and getting the new ones that comes with Virtual DJ… It’s more stable… Easier to work with…

    Does it work with Logic pro?

  23. mrSvartberg on September 3, 2011 at 8:26 am

    Ifags, god bless microsoft!

  24. Void10901 on September 3, 2011 at 11:17 am

    @MrJoseaceves15 Seeing as the Mixdeck has no “automatic sync” button like some of Numark’s merchandise (*cough*mixtrack*cough*), you’ll have to manually sync the song with the opposite deck (play both songs, one muted and one full volume, and tap on the muted song to the beat of the heard song, hence why it has the “tap” button on it, it might take a few tries but you’ll get used to it), and of course, fix the pitch of the muted song, so the mix doesn’t sound weird or go awry.

    Good luck!

    is this good for techno and other electronic music and not just hip hop and all that?
